Bluebeam to showcase latest building technology at Digital Construction Week 2019

In Press Releases by Ratika Sadana

Bluebeam, developer of the world’s leading markup and collaboration tool for the architecture, engineering and construction industries, is back as a headline partner of Digital Construction Week 2019.

Digital Construction Week (DCW) is the UK’s largest construction technology event. Last year, over 6,500 building industry professionals from nearly 2,000 firms attended, eager to learn about critical developments in BIM and digitalisation in the built environment.

This year’s event is set to be the biggest ever. And Bluebeam has a packed programme to fit the bill, with dozens of presentations, live interactive demos and one-to-one Tech Lab sessions planned over two days. It’s all happening at London ExCeL on 16 and 17 October.

Oliver Hughes, Director and Co-Founder of DCW said: “We launched DCW five years ago, to create a platform for exploring innovation and technology across the built environment. It’s amazing to see how our industry has embraced new ways of working. Bluebeam has shared our vision from the start and has been a huge part of helping to move our industry forward.”

James Chambers, UK Country Manager of Bluebeam said: “We’re excited to be a headline sponsor of DCW 2019. The show really highlights the dramatic impact of digital technology on AEC businesses. Our team will be out in force, ready to show how we can improve processes, enhance productivity and make a significant difference to a business’ bottom line.”

Bluebeam is sponsor of DCW Onsite Arena

Bluebeam is once again sponsoring the DCW Onsite Arena – a replica construction site that showcases the latest technology ‘in the field’.

Visitors to the DCW Onsite Arena look forward to:

The Power of Standards speaking sessions

A series of four speaking sessions, specially developed for DCW by Bluebeam in partnership with The B1M. These sessions build on the lessons from their newly released documentary The Power of Standards, and track the construction industry’s progress towards standardising how it uses PDFs.

Fred Mills, Co-Founder and Managing Director of The B1M, said “Since the release of the Power of Standards documentary we’ve been overwhelmed by the interest and support in developing a set of PDF guidelines for the UK market. Partnering with Bluebeam at this year’s Digital Construction Week is a fantastic opportunity to share the progress we’ve achieved to date.”

Bluebeam will hold five live demo sessions and five speaking sessions, packed with workflow tips and handy hints from Revu experts. Session topics include:
